Account deletion
Last updated: July 14, 2026
You can permanently delete your Clarv account and associated data directly from the Clarv application. You do not need to contact support when you can sign in.
Delete your account in Clarv
- Sign in to Clarv.
- Open your profile menu and select Settings.
- Open Profile and scroll to the Danger zone.
- Select Delete account.
- Enter the email address attached to your Clarv account.
- Type DELETE exactly as shown and acknowledge that deletion is permanent.
- Select Permanently delete account.
Clarv blocks deletion while a Clarv notetaker is actively attending a meeting. End that meeting and wait for its processing to finish, then repeat the steps above.
What account deletion removes
Account deletion removes data controlled solely by your account, including:
- Your Clarv profile, authentication record, preferences, and active sessions.
- Your Google Calendar connection, stored OAuth credentials, and synchronized calendar cache.
- Workspaces you own and their meetings, recordings, transcripts, summaries, action items, notes, chats, collections, and sharing records.
- Clarv-managed recording and thumbnail files associated with those workspaces.
- Your membership and personal data in workspaces owned by other people.
Content controlled by another workspace owner may remain in that shared workspace. Limited records may also be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or resolving disputes, as described in the Privacy Policy.
If you cannot access your account
Email support@clarv.site with the subject Clarv account deletion request. Send the request from the email address associated with your Clarv account so we can verify ownership.
If you no longer control that email address, explain this in your message. Clarv may request additional information necessary to verify that you own the account before processing the request.
Before you delete
Export any recordings or meeting content you want to keep. Account deletion is permanent, and deleted content cannot be recovered.
